OSWEGO, NY – Oswego Rotary hosted Dan Witmer representing the Oswego St. Baldrick’s Foundation recently.

Witmer is organizing his 10th annual fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s, an organization committed to raising money for life-saving research finding cures to childhood cancers.
When he organized his first St. Baldrick’s Oswego event in 2007, his team succeeded in raising more than $11,000.
In the past three years, the Oswego events have raised between $93,000 and $97,500, and over the span of nine years, have raised more than $485,000.
This year’s goal is to surpass $500,000 as well as the elusive annual goal of $100,000.
The Oswego St. Baldrick’s Day event is set for April 10 at the Lake Ontario Event Center.
