Students collaborate to build rockets at Granby

Collaboration plus outstanding effort equals success at Granby Elementary School.

Students from Caitlin Besio’s fifth and sixth grade classroom along with students from Joseph McNamara’s sixth grade classroom are an example of this type of success.

The two classes recently worked together on a rocketry project; learning about forces of motion, aerodynamics and electricity and how these theories apply to and impact the construction of and launching of model rockets.
