Students Enjoy Minetto Country Hoedown Tradition

MINETTO, NY – It was more than 20 years ago that former Minetto Elementary School physical education teacher Lois Campbell introduced a “Country Hoedown” activity to her students.

That tradition has continued over the years and recently was a culminating dance unit activity for grades K-3 at the school and was highlighted by a hoedown for the third grade students, according to Minetto physical education teacher Julie Tubolino.
