Students at Altmar Elementary School in the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District celebrated Valentine’s Day with something they love the most, books.

A school-wide literacy day called “Put Your Heart Into Reading” kicked off during morning program with second grade teacher Amy Healy reading one of her favorite books, The Man Who Kept His Heart In A Bucket by Sonia Levitin.
The students joined the reading initiative.
