Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks Under Way

FULTON – Oswego AmeriCorps members Bailey Lutz and Zac Vaccaro are working in conjunction with the Fulton City Parks and Recreation office to create a summer program that’s available for children in preschool up to sixth grade.

The program got started June 26 and will run until mid-August. It’s the same program that was held in previous years.

The program allows kids to find ways to get active through activities like kickball, tag and obstacle courses.

It will also focus on teaching kids healthy habits that they can develop now and continue for the rest of their life.

Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks will be held at two different parks on weekdays: Patrick Park, located on Frawley Drive near Patrick Circle, will have a morning session from 10 a.m. to noon and John Lincoln Park, located off East Broadway near Pathfinder Courts, will have an afternoon session from 1-3 p.m.

If you are interested in looking at the schedule of activities, the entire calendar will be listed on the program’s facebook page, Summer Fun in Fulton’s Parks.

To learn more or again wish to have a copy of the schedule, contact Lutz and Vacarro at [email protected] or at 315-466-6994.
