OSWEGO, NY – Nearly 180 students, including several from the area, completed their undergraduate studies at SUNY Oswego in summer 2017 and were recognized with bachelor’s degrees.

Keith M. Fosmire of Royalty Lane in Fulton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science
Alexandra J. Mannise of Red School House Road in Fulton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in human development
Ewelina A. Wojnowska of County Route 7 in Hannibal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in childhood education
Scot Laws of Cowen Road in Hastings earned a Bachelor of Science degree in wellness management
Nathan K. Miller of P.O. Box 128 in Minetto earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering
Kayana M. Akez of West Utica Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance
Richard T. Balch of East Ninth Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in history
Christina L. Cannizzo of West Third Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in global and international studies
Cameron Caruso of County Route 53 in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in music
David W. DeLand of County Route 20 in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration
Gary Hayden of County Route 57 in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in human development
Carmen P. Mendoza of West Seneca Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in broadcasting and mass communication
Morgan T. Pratt of East Fourth Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication and social interaction
Elizabeth A. Warner of County Route 1 in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre
Thomas A. Werth of Hamilton Street in Oswego earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in creative writing
A student who graduates with honors is indicated by the traditional Latin phrases summa cum laude, with highest honor (grade averages of 3.8 to 4.0); magna cum laude, with great honor (grade averages of 3.6 to 3.79); and cum laude, with honor (grade averages of 3.30 to 3.59).
