SUNY Oswego Announces Sept. 7 Concert Cancellation

OSWEGO — A free concert featuring Shafaat Khan, classical musician of India, originally scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7, at SUNY Oswego, has been canceled.

The performance formerly was to be an unofficial kickoff on campus for the “Year of India,” sponsored by the college’s Institute for Global Engagement.

A revised agenda for the yearlong cultural and educational observance, including a Sept. 20 opening ceremony, is currently being planned and will be shared with the community in the near future.
