I would like to thank those members of the Fulton community who voted for me to become a member of our Board of Education. I take the trust and confidence they have placed in me very seriously, and I will work hard to be a strong representative for the students in Fulton and also for the taxpayers.
I also want to thank all the candidates who ran this year. It was wonderful to see so much interest in our school district and in our students.
I will work very hard to be an effective Board member. As Abraham Lincoln said in 1832, “Upon the subject of education, ….I can only say that I view it as the most important subject which we as a people can be engaged in.” Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue to be engaged in education.
