‘The Living Stations’ Set April 7 At Fulton Education Center

FULTON, NY – Continuing the 30-year tradition, “The Living Stations” will be presented at 7 p.m., April 7, in the Fulton Education Center auditorium.

Admission is free.

This dramatization of “The Way of the Cross” with music, live action, and reflective narrative, is the traditional Catholic prayer of Jesus’ passion as it portrays the final hours leading to His crucifixion, said Jamie Ruzekowicz, coordinator.

In the “Living Stations” local youth take on the roles of major characters in the traditional 14 scenes of the Stations of the Cross, Ruzekowicz said.

Each scene features a series of readings and meditations and is a visual reminder of Christ’s suffering.

Josh Compson, 17, a junior at G. Ray Bodley High School will portray Jesus and Jenna Ruzekowicz, 15, a sophomore at GRB, will portray Mary.

The choir, which accompanies the production, is under the direction of Dolores Walrath.
