The Oswego Children’s Theater To Offer A Teen Theater Camp This Summer

Area teens will have the opportunity, this Summer, to get close to nature, and learn about the wonderful world of drama, the  at the same time, during the up coming teen theater camp sponsored by the Oswego Children’s Theater.

The camp will be held at The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center. This facility is owned and operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County’s 4-H Program, and includes 150 acres of mixed woods, wetlands, with Three miles of hiking trails guiding visitors through varied ecosystems

The program will consist of an over night camp for youth entering the seventh grade or older starting  Friday evening July 11  continuing on through all day and night Saturday July 12 and ending Sunday afternoon July 13.

The camp’s schedule of activities will include sessions on Improvisation, Playwriting, Scenic Design, Make up workshops, and Monologues exploration as well as vocal workshops for the musically inclined, all with a natural theme.

In addition there will be plenty of time for singing and performing around the campfire, hiking in the woods, and spending a little quiet time with nature.

All the activities will be conducted by certified instructors, including Lyndsie Lee Mosher M.A. Theater Education, Emerson College, Kenneth Jones M.S. Music Education Michigan State University, and Amanda Mosher Certified Make-up artist LIBS Academy New York City.

The cost is only $75 per student.
