OSWEGO – The room was buzzing with folks sharing the human experience in a hip and newly renovated space built by local developers John Dickquist and Laura Brazak; nurtured by TDJ owner and artistic director Tammy Lynn Wilkinson.

The eclectic room was wall to wall actors, directors, theatre connoisseurs and community members at large.
The theater company’s red, white and black logo leading the trendy decor and stoking the creative energy, you really felt like this was something special.
The space will be utilized as a home base for the up and coming company, housing offices for administration, business development, marketing and promotion as well as holding auditions, photo shoots and rehearsals.
Local favorite Dan Williams serenaded visitors with his piano stylings and refreshments including cucumber mint infused water flowed for all to enjoy.
A grand ribbon cutting with the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Billy Barlow set the stage while many laughs rang out as the tiny thespian attempted to command the scissors to her will.
With just one snip the art loft was officially “open.”
A preview reading was next on the agenda and visitors were treated to a scene from TDJ’s upcoming production.
