Town Of Volney Contest Continues Online

VOLNEY – The town of Volney is having a contest,

“How Many Peanuts in the Jar?”

Email the town historian with your name, phone number and guess at [email protected]

Or, contest entry forms are available and the jar of peanuts in the shell is on display at he town hall in Volney Center.

The closest guess will win the book, “History of Oswego County” 1816 – 2016.

The book contains history of each town, city and village with photos and little known facts.

This book was published to celebrate Oswego County’s bicentennial last year.

This book is also on display and would make a great gift.
