Town of Volney History Program Scheduled

VOLNEY – Quick time is running out. Mark your calendar, “Who is Elmina Spencer” is set for May 5 at 2 p.m. at the Volney town hall in Volney Center.

Joyce Cook was librarian for the Fulton Public Library for fourteen years and she will tell the adventures and maybe (or maybe not) wild actions in “the rest of the story.”

The Rest of the Story was a Monday-through-Friday radio program originally hosted by Paul Harvey from 1952 to 2008 reaching as many as 24 million people a week.

The Rest of the Story consisted of stories presented as little-known or forgotten facts on a variety of subjects.
