Traffic Safety Champion Nominees Sought

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County Traffic Safety Board would like to invite the citizens of Oswego County to nominate a person of exemplary character and devotion to traffic safety.
Prospective Traffic Safety Champions can be anyone who makes safety a priority in child passenger safety, or while driving, walking or biking and serves their community in spreading the safety message in a volunteer or paid capacity.
Names must be submitted to the Oswego County Traffic Safety Board by Sept. 19 with a description of why you think this person deserves the recognition.
The board will meet on September 22 to finalize the winners and all candidates and sponsors will be notified.
A breakfast ceremony will be given at Battle Island on October 27 to celebrate the achievement.
