Trivia Night To Support Hannibal Schools ACE Program A Success

Oswego County Federal Credit Union (OCFCU) and the Beacon Hotel, 75 W. Bridge St., Oswego, recently teamed up to sponsor a Trivia Night at the hotel to support the Academic & Community Enrichment (ACE) program at Fairley Elementary School, Hannibal, it was announced by Ashley Galloway, OCFCU member service representative and event chair. “It was a success beyond our expectations,” Galloway said. The winning team, above, was Tilly and the Bandits. Team members, from left: Brian Griffin, Tammy Griffin, Telia Morse, Rich Merritt, and Ryan Tamayo. A group of eight Fairley teachers are volunteering their time to run the ACE After School program. Twenty-one second grade students, who will be chosen by their teachers, will be invited to engage in healthy and productive learning activities outside of the regular school day, Galloway said.
