United Way Funding Process Under Way

FULTON, NY – Executive director of the United Way of Greater Oswego County Melanie Trexler addressed members of the United Ways Community Investment Committee recently regarding the guidelines for the agency’s funding process.

The Community Investment Committee is comprised of community volunteers who serve on one of five panels that deal with a specific field of service.

The panels visit United Way member agencies to evaluate programs and services related to their field and recommend to the United Way board of directors the funding support to be provided to those programs.
