Students at Volney Elementary School recently wrote letters to Santa to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York through the Macy’s Department Store’s “Believe” Campaign.

For every letter to Santa that the local department store receives, they will donate $1 to the local chapter of the MAW, up to $1 million.

Students at the school wrote 283 letters for the cause, and as a district, the Fulton City School District raised more than $600 for Make-A-Wish through the Santa Letter Campaign.
