OSWEGO COUNTY – Walmart in Central Square presented a $1,000 donation to the Oswego County Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program during the grand reopening at the store on Nov. 1. Oswego County UAS Coordinator John McGraw said the funds will support equipment for the program’s command vehicle, which carries drones for deployment to public safety incidents throughout the county. Oswego County’s drone pilots support the sheriff’s department and law-enforcement incidents, fire and search and rescue operations, and emergency management damage assessments, among others.
