OSWEGO – Major James Purvis, Oswego County Salvation Army, returned to Oswego Rotary on Dec. 15.

The major, a former Oswego Rotary member, now a Fulton member, updated members on “what’s new at the Army.”
He thanked us for taking part in the Red Kettle campaign this past Saturday where many of us rang the bell at Price Chopper in Oswego.
The local Salvation Army locations (Oswego and Fulton) have soup kitchens and food pantries for hunger relief, help our youth with homework assistance, emergency disaster services, housing, rehabilitation services, senior and elderly services and a host of many other outreach programs and services.
