Oswego AmeriCorps members Eryn and Tyffany Howlett are currently running the Summer Reading Program “Dig into Reading” at the Annie P. Ainsworth Memorial Library in Sandy Creek.

This program is for children in Pre-K through fifth grade that have fun reading and enjoy being with other children who love to read.
During the program, the children get to participate in reading activities, read along during story time, play games outside, make crafts related to the theme of the day and eat nutritious snacks and drinks.
This program was designed to provide the children with access to books for their own use and knowledge about fitness and nutrition.
So far the program is going very well.
