OSWEGO, NY – On October 26, at about 8:06 p.m. the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti- Crime Team (ACT) executed a narcotics related search warrant for the person of 32-year-old Carl D. Carpenter Jr. of 264 Lower Road, Constantia.
The search warrant was executed on Carpenter while he was a passenger within a vehicle on East Fourth Street just north of East Utica Street in the city of Oswego.
Pursuant to the execution of the search warrant, investigators found Carpenter to allegedly be in possession of approximately 21 grams of cocaine as well as packaging material consistent with the sales of illegal narcotics.
Carpenter was arrested and charged with one count each of the following:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, intent to sell – Class B Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree- Class B Felony
Carpenter was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 secure bail bond.
He has a return court date of Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Oswego City Court.
