Submitted by Constellation Energy Nuclear Group

OSWEGO, N.Y.  – Constellation Energy Nuclear Group (CENG) recently pledged its continued support of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office Child Safety Education Program. CENG’s donation will cover the costs of providing child safety education materials to the children in our community.

Safety is one of CENG’s core values along with community responsibility. The employees of Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station are proud to support this valuable community program and help promote safety education.

The National Child Safety Council (NCSC) was founded in 1955 with the mission of preventing needless childhood accidents and helping to save lives through meaningful safety education. The NCSC and the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office work together annually to provide child safety education materials to children throughout the county. Their efforts have received very positive and encouraging feedback from the children, their parents, and teachers.
