Continental Arms Unit at Fair Haven Parade

Fair Haven-Continental Arms Collectors Association's Revolutionary War Unit joined the celebration of America's independence, from British rule, at the annual Fair Haven Parade on July 1.  The group interprets a company from the 1st New York Regiment, Continental Army, in 1782. New York State provided about 43,645 individuals for service throughout the War for Independence. From left: Gary Slate, John Mattison, George Clark, Susan Wojakowski, Paul Lear, Henry Pauly, Tim Crisafulli, Hermes Knauer, Matt MacVittie, Neal Smith and Mitch Maniccia.  The parade reflected the true spirit of patriotism on this most important American holiday.
