Cop Logs: Sheriff’s Office 01/23/2017

On 1/17/17 at 12:44 p.m., Leaonardjay Pavlov, 19, of 479 North Ave., Hilton, NY, was operating a 2006 Ford east on SR 104 in the town of Oswego at the intersection with Sweet Road when a bicycle being operated by Susan T. Earhardt, 58, of 909 CR 25, Oswego, attempted to turn left from the shoulder, causing it to collide with the Ford.
Ms. Earhardt was transported by ambulance to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

On 1/19/17 at 2:50 p.m., David E. Russell, 37, of 1100 Emery St., Bldg K. Apt 5, Fulton, was arrested for 1 count of Intimidating a Victim or Witness, 3rd degree, a class E felony; Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, 4th degree, a class E felony; 2 counts of Menacing, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into the theft of long rifles from a gun shop in the town of Mexico in December 2016.
Mr. Russell is accused of menacing the victims with a loaded shotgun and is a convicted felon from 9/24/03 along with attempting to compel an individual from refraining from communicating information to a court, grand jury, prosecutor, police officer or peace officer or he would harm the victim’s family.
Mr. Russell was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court by Hon. Judge Hafner and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond with a return to court on 2/28/17.
This case remains an open investigation and anyone with information please call the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office at 349-3411.

On 1/20/17 at 8:53 a.m., Jacob FV Perrotta, 34, of 237 W. Eighth St., Oswego, was arrested for Unauthorized Use of Vehicle: w/o Owner’s Consent, 3rd degree, a class A misdemeanor stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred on 1/17/17 in the town of Volney.
Mr. Perrotta is scheduled to answer the charge on 2/6/17 in the Town of Volney Court.

On 1/20/17 at 9:21 a.m., Montana H. Malone, 19, of 262 Hall Road, Hannibal, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Exhaust Violation following a traffic stop on Furniss Station Road in the town of Oswego.
Mr. Malone is scheduled to answer the charges on 1/30/17 in the Town of Oswego Court.

On 1/20/17 at 9:50 p.m., Morgan W. Smith, 48, of 166 Little John Drive, Redfield, was arrested for DWI and Crossing Road Hazard Markings after his vehicle reportedly exited the roadway on CR 2 in the town of Redfield.
Mr. Smith was arraigned in the Town of Redfield Court by Hon. Judge Dumas and is scheduled to return on 1/25/17.

On 1/20/17 at 10:01 p.m., Anthony J. Merritt, 27, of 875 CR 84, Central Square, was charged with AUO, 2nd degree and Exhaust Violation following a traffic stop on SR 69 in the town of Parish.
Mr. Merritt was arraigned by Hon. Judge Dayger in T/O Parish Court and is scheduled to reappear on 1/24/17.

On 1/21/17 at 2:19 a.m., Mark D. McCrobie, 52, of 90 Sixth Ave., Oswego, was arrested for DWI; Aggravated DWI and Crossing Road Hazard Markings following a traffic stop on SR 481 south of VanBuren Road,  in the town of Volney.
Mr. McCrobie is scheduled to answer the charges on 2/13/17 in the Town of Volney Court.

On 1/21/17 at 6:15 a.m., Tre T. Graves, 23, of 88 Maiden Lane, Lot 13, Oswego, was arrested for DWI and AUO, 1st degree(alcohol) following an EMS complaint on CR 176 in the town of Scriba.
Mr. Graves is scheduled to answer the charges on 2/2/17 in the Town of Scriba Court.

On 1/21/17 at 12:50 p.m., Andrew E. Bryan, 23, of 1822 CR 6, Lot A3, Fulton, was charged with AUO, 3rd degree following a traffic stop on SR 3 in the town of Volney.
Mr. Bryan is scheduled to answer the charge on 2/6/17 in the Town of Volney Court on 2/6/17.

On 1/21/17 at 6:45 p.m., Wayne F. Coe, 34, of 72 CR 51A, New Haven, was arrested in the OCJ where he is residing on unrelated charges and charged with Criminal Contempt, 1st degree, a class E felony; Menacing, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 3rd degree, a class D felony stemming from the investigation into an incident that occurred on 1/12/17 in the town of New Haven.
He allegedly held a metal rebar against the victim’s neck and threatened bodily harm with the victim having an active order of protection filed against him.
Mr. Coe was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins and remanded back to the OCJ held without bail and a return to court on 2/2/17.

On 1/21/17 at 8:05 p.m., Catherine M. Menter, 29, of 110 CR 43, Mexico, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Failure to Keep Right following a one-vehicle MVA on CR 1 in the town of Scriba.
Ms. Menter is scheduled to appear in the Town of Scriba Court on 2/2/17.

On 1/22/17 at 2:20 p.m., Joseph A. Pena, 70, of 116 Smith St., Brooklyn, was charged with AUO, 3rd degree; Operating a MV w/o Inspection Certificate; Misuse of Dealer Plate and License Plate Violation following an incident in the town of Scriba.
Mr. Pena is scheduled to answer the charges on 2/9/17 in the Town of Scriba Court.
