Cop Logs: Sheriff’s Office 06/20/2018


On 6/9/18 at 1:23 a.m., Brandon M. Lockwood, 23, of 2624 CR 176, Fulton, was operating a 2004 Chevrolet pickup west on SR 3 in the town of Volney, 300 feet east of Baldwin Road, when he reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway and strike three mailboxes before reentering the roadway then exit on the north shoulder striking a telephone pole then down an embankment and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle.
Mr. Lockwood was issued UTTs for Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident; Failure to Keep Right; Speeding; Reckless Driving and Drive Across Hazard Markings.
Alcohol involvement seems to have been a contributing factor.

Joseph C. Mannino Jr

On 6/10/18 at 1:04 p.m., Joseph C. Mannino Jr., 34, of 252 Albright Road, Mexico, was arrested for Menacing, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th degree, a class A misdemeanor following an incident in the town of New Haven.
He allegedly raised his fists in a threatening manner and then threatened to go get a gun.
Mr. Mannino was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court and is scheduled to return to the Town of New Haven Court on 6/21/18.

On 6/18/18 at 5:59 p.m., Christa L. Leonard, 31, of 438 Phinney Road, Hannibal, was charged with AUO, 3rd degree and Speeding following a traffic stop on CR 3 in the town of Granby.
Ms. Leonard is scheduled to answer the charges on 7/2/18 in the Town of Granby Court.

On 6/19/18 at 1 a.m., Victoria C. Leboeuf, 54, of 452 CR 84, Central Square, was operating a 2013 Volkswagen west on CR 84 in the town of Hastings, ½ mile west of CR 37, when she reportedly lost control causing the vehicle to exit the north side of the roadway striking a driveway culvert before coming to rest in a ditch.
Ms. Leboeuf was issued a UTT for Driving Across Hazard Markings.
Animal’s action seems to have been a contributing factor.

On 6/19/18 at 9:32 a.m., Dillon J. Gibson, 19, of 129 Furniss Station Road, Oswego, was arrested for Sexual Abuse, 3rd degree, a class B misdemeanor; Forcible Touching, a class A misdemeanor and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred on 4/14/18 in the town of Oswego.
He allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the victim being less than 17 years of age.
Mr. Gibson is scheduled to answer the charges on 7/2/18 in the Town of Oswego Court.
