Cop Logs: Sheriff’s Office 10/24/2018

On 10/22/18 at 7:40 a.m., Emily M. Hamelin, 25, of 113 E. Seneca St., Oswego, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marihuana and Speeding following a traffic stop on CR 57 in the town of Scriba.
Ms. Hamelin is scheduled to answer the charges on 11/8/18 in the Town of Scriba Court.

On 10/23/18 at 3:30 p.m., Jonathan J. Santiago, 18, of 4186 Maider Road, Clay, was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor following the investigation into an incident that occurred in the town of Mexico.
He allegedly engaged in an act likely to be injurious to the physical, mental or moral welfare of a child less than 17 years of age.
Mr. Santiago was arraigned in the Town of Mexico Court and is scheduled to return on 12/4/18.

On 10/23/18 at 9:47 p.m., Yvonne L. Degroff, 27, of 71 E. Sixth St., Oswego, was arrested based on an arrest warrant issued out of the Town of Granby Court.
Ms. Degroff was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond with a return to court on 11/5/18.

On 10/24/18 at 5:56 a.m., Tay Robert Solazzo, 23, of 696 O’Connor Road, Oswego, was operating a 2012 Chevrolet pickup east on Weller Road in the town of Volney when the vehicle reportedly failed to stop at the intersection with CR 6 causing it to collide with a 2018 Dodge pickup traveling south and being operated by Stacey Ann Tarbell, 59, of 1831 CR 6, Fulton.
Mr. Solazzo was issued a UTT for Failure to Stop at STOP Sign.
