Cortini Announces Candidacy for Granby Town Board

Joseph Cortini, Jr. (R), has announced his candidacy for Granby Town Board and will be in the Sept. 15 primary.

Cortini currently serves as deputy town supervisor and resides in Granby with wife, Jenny and four children where he has lived for 23 years. He is the third generation to own and operate Cortini Shoe, Zipper & Leather Repair in Fulton, and also serves on the Southern Oswego County Health Advisory Board. He is a member of the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce and is well known throughout Central NY as a professional musician and a member of the American Federation of Musicians Union, Local 267-441.

“I believe my business experience is an asset to me in serving the residents of Granby,” Cortini said. “My tenure as deputy supervisor has given me a broad understanding of town government and how I can best serve the residents of Granby. It would be a tremendous privilege for me to continue my service to the town as a representative on the town board.”
