Cortland Stymies Oswego Girls’ Lacrosse

Host Cortland played a good possession game and did not allow us the looks we really wanted.

Cortland came out fast against us and played really good possession lacrosse and we struggled to keep the ball in our sticks and finish our passes.

We had several good drives to the goal and came up short several times.

Defensively, we had a few breakdowns as the night played on.

But offensively we truly hurt ourselves with the drop passes and we forced the ball too much and had a lot of turnovers in the game.

Just did not think we found a ryhtym tonight.

We play Saturday and three games next week so we need to get back to a focus on our basics and take care of the ball better.
