County Announces Closure of Long-Term Home Health Care Program

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Health Department has announced the Oswego County Long Term Home Health Care Program is officially closed as of Feb. 13, 2015.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the community, health care providers, contractors, and county nursing staff for their almost 30 years’ of support and dedication during the operation of the Oswego County Long Term Home Health Care Program. Although the County Long Term Home Health Care Program is closing, the health department will continue providing Hospice and Home Health Care Agency services to county residents. We continue to be the provider of choice for quality home care services in the county,” said Jiancheng Huang, Oswego County Director of Public Health.

“What makes our staff different is our passion for not only serving the physical health care needs of our clients, but also the emotional needs of the client and their family. We go above and beyond the standard care duties to make personal connections with clients that can make all the difference in one’s overall health and well-being.  Our mission to serve and protect people’s health has not changed,” Huang added.
