OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego County Legislature recognized the Lioness Club of Central Square with a certificate of commendation at its November meeting.
The group will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its apple festival next year.
The annual event attracts upwards of 25,000 people to enjoy apples, crafts, games, food, live entertainment and family fun.
All of the profits from the festival are donated back to the local community.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Economic Development and Planning Committee presented the honor.
