County Recognizes April As Sexual Assault Awareness Month

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County recently designated April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month to raise awareness about the devastating impact of this issue and the variety of services available to victims and survivors.

Sexual violence impacts the community as a whole and its members must work together to provide prevention education, support for survivors, and a voice against harmful attitudes and actions.

Representatives from Oswego County Opportunities Crisis and Development Prevention and Intervention Services were at hand to receive the proclamation.
