County Recognizes Gardner

OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature recently recognized

r for her dedication and commitment to the Oswego County community.

Gardner was nominated to attend the New York State Senior Citizen’s Recognition Day in Albany this year and was awarded the ARISE Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013.

An active volunteer, Gardner has served Oswego’s Harborfest, the Mexico Academy and Central School (MACS) Alumni Band, ARISE of Oswego County, Granby Senior Citizens, Oswego County Office for the Aging, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP), Compass Credit Union, Oswego County United Way, and is a certified tax preparer for AARP/RSVP.

At hand to present the certificate is the Legislature’s Health Committee.
