Daniel “Lurch” Tyrrell

Daniel “Lurch” Tyrrell, 56, of Fulton passed away Saturday at University Hospital. Over the years he had worked at SYROCO, Nestles and most recently as a handyman. His greatest love was singing and he was especially fond of Elvis. He is survived by his longtime companion, Florinda Pittsley; children, Craig and Kristy of Oswego, Daniel III of MA, Kristopher and Jessica of Wolcott and Shawna of Oneonta; two brothers, David and Michael of Fulton; sister, MaryAnn of Fulton ; seven grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 11 to 1 p.m. Thursday with a 1 p.m. service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

  5. I grew up and went to school with Danny my heart dropped when I read here that he had died. Life is so short. My sympathies to the family
