David Lee Ouzts, 63

FULTON, NY – David Lee Ouzts, 63, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday May 30, 2018, at his home.

David was born in Savannah, Ga., to the late James and Kathryn (Helmly) Ouzts.

He previously resided in Rochester, NY, from 2012 until moving to Fulton in January.

David had worked in construction for 45 years.

He mainly specialized in roofing.

More recently he worked with his son’s business C&C Renovations, Fulton.

David enjoyed drawing and he was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his three children: John Ouzts of Arizona, Rebecca (Joseph) Rath of Rochester, and Chris (Casey) Ouzts of Fulton; five grandchildren: Jordan, Jayden, Bryce, Nolan and Caleb.

Calling hours will be conducted Tuesday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

The funeral service will follow at 4:30 p.m. in the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc.

  1. Beth and I last saw David in December of 1980 when my Mother died. Uncle James, Aunt Katie and David came to Albany, Ga for Mamas funeral. After so very many years, it was wonderful to have reconnected with him. I enjoyed the coversations we had abt him, his children and those precious Grands and, of course, politics. Rest in Sweet Peace David. You are loved and are missed.
