FULTON, NY – Dean R. Ottoway, 61, of Fulton, died Sunday April 1, 2012.
He was born in Syracuse and resided in Fulton for the past 10 years.
Dean was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.
He had worked in construction and did volunteer work for the D.A.V. and Meals on Wheels.
Dean enjoyed ceramics and his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandsons, Ryan and Mathew.
He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor H. Brosseau; a sister, Lynn Ottoway; his father, Floyd Ottoway; and by his son, Dustin Ottoway.
He is survived by a daughter, Dana Ottoway of Fulton; two grandsons, Ryan and Mathew Gustke of Fulton; a brother, Anthony (Cathe) Brosseau of Liverpool; and a nephew, Robert Konys of Minetto.
Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday with services to follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
