OSWEGO, NY – Delores J. Miceli, 91, of Oswego, died Thursday January 11, 2018, in Morningstar Care Center, Oswego.
Mrs. Miceli was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (DeSantis) Pauldine.
Mrs. Miceli was the Oswego city registrar for many years before retiring in 1995.
She was a former member of the St. Joseph Altar Society, and the Dante Alighieri Auxiliary.
Mrs. Miceli was predeceased by her husband, Mathew Miceli, in 1992; daughters, Cecelia King, 2007 and Rita Vona, 2017; granddaughter, Jaclyn Miceli, 1993; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Marie (Robert) Steinburg of North Carolina, Joseph (Kathleen) Miceli of Oswego, Ann Miceli of Oswego and David (Maureen) Miceli of Fulton; and her sons-in-law, Michael Vona and Ben King.
In addition, she is survived by her eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego.
