Deputies Seek Help In Locating Missing Man

OSWEGO, NY – At about 5:29 a.m. today (Nov. 5), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office were called to a report of a one-vehicle rollover on County Route 53 approximately 1.5 miles south of County Route 4 in the town of Scriba.

Deputies located a blue 2009 Dodge Avenger four-door car that had been involved in a rollover type of accident.

The vehicle in question came back to a Ray L. Gregory, DOB 08/28/65, who was believed to be operating the vehicle at the time of the accident.

A thorough search of the area by emergency personnel was unsuccessful in locating any victims of the accident.

The Sheriff’s Office has since been contacted by the family of Mr. Gregory and has been unsuccessful in making any contact with Mr. Gregory.

Mr. Gregory was last seen in the city of Oswego at approximately 2 a.m. today (Nov. 5) leaving the Lighthouse Lanes bowling alley.

Evidence located at the scene of the accident indicated that the vehicle had been there for several hours and the operator had possibly walked from the scene.

Mr. Gregory is a white male, approximately six feet tall, approximately 250 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a red Budweiser windbreaker with a black Nascar T-shirt.

Mr. Gregory resides on South Third Street in the city of Fulton.
