OSWEGO, NY – On 6/27/12 at 11:57 a.m., Jason R. Massey, 31, of 1822 CR 6 Bldg. B 2, Fulton, was arrested following an incident in the town of Volney for Criminal Contempt, 1st degree, a class E felony; Menacing, 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor; Resisting Arrest, a class A misdemeanor; Criminal Mischief, 3rd degree, a class E felony; No License; Failure to Keep Right; Failure to Obey Police Officer and Reckless Endangerment, 1st degree, a class D felony.
He allegedly backed his vehicle into the residence of the victim of which has an active order of protection filed against him.
He then proceeded to drive across two lawns at a high rate of speed, causing the rear of the vehicle to hit another residence before continuing on to CR 6,, turning left onto CR 45 then into the front lawn of 2921 CR 45 just feet from the front porch of the residence, deputies said.
As he exited the vehicle, he reportedly was verbally instructed to get down on the ground which he ignored and continued to walk on before a Taser was deployed upon him and yet he continued to kick as he was being taken into custody which provoked the deputies to use OC spray on him.
Massey was arraigned in the Town of Volney Court by Hon. Judge Aluzzi and remanded to the OCJ in lieu of $7,500 cash or $15,000 bond with a return to Town of Volney Court on July 2.
