Cicero, N.Y. – All girls entering grades 2-12 in the fall are invited to attend Girl Scout camp this summer and discover endless possibilities of fun and adventure. Girl Scout membership is not required.
Overnight camp sessions are happening at the Yaiewano Program Center, south of Auburn.
Camp sessions are scheduled from July 8 to August 5. In addition to traditional camping activities girls can participate in programs such as “Potions and Lotions” where girls will make their own soap, lip glass or bath salts; “Artrageous” which allows girls to focus on all types of arts; and “Smooth Sailing” where girls spend the week improving their sailing skills.
There are also three-day, two-night programs for the younger campers to get used to resident camping.
Girls can also attend Girl Scout resident camps in Deposit and Harrisville.
There will be open houses held at each camp location where girls and families can meet the camp directors, tour the facilities, shop the camp trading posts, enjoy a s’more and see what fun they’ll have this summer.
The open houses are free.
