District Battle of the Books Winners Announced


OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego City School District held its final district Battle of the Books competition on March 4 at the Oswego High School Ralph M. Faust Theater.

Battle of the Books is a reading motivation and comprehension program that is organized by the district librarians.

The goals of the program are to encourage and recognize students who enjoy reading and to promote academic excellence.

The competitions included grades three – four, five – six, and seven – eight.

The winners will represent the Oswego City School District at the Oswego County competition in Fulton on March 24.
