PULASKI – On Wednesday, September 16, Chris Reis, DDGM for the Oswego District, made his official visit to Pulaski Masonic Lodge No. 415.
The lodge rooms had recently suffered a devastating water leak from its pipes.
The lodge room, dinning room and kitchen were damaged.
despite the damage and renovation, the members of Pulaski were able to welcome the District Deputy Grand Master and Staff Officer to the lodge.
Three members of Masonic War Veterans Post 43 presented the flag at the opening of the lodge.
W.M. Mike Faukner, Master of Pulaski Loge welcomed Reis, representing M.W. William J. Thomas, Grand Master in the State of New York.
Staff Officer Leon A Bulriss and assistant Grand Lectures Faulkner and Mike Lighthall were in attendance.
All received Grand Honors.
DDGM Reis, gave a speech summarizing the Grand Master message.
Emphasis was on Masonic civility, merging lodges, supporting Grand Lodge and Camp Turk and programs for youth.
Twenty six Masons from sever Oswego District Lodges were in attendance.
Refreshments were served in the front parlor, one of the few rooms not damaged.
Despite the damage and construction a good time was had by all.
