OSWEGO, NY – An Oswego man is in jail after a domestic dispute in which he also allegedly threatened a deputy with a knife.
At 12:45 p.m. Thursday, Michael A. Myers Jr., 19, of 32 Penfield Drive, Oswego, was arrested for Harassment, 2nd degree and Menacing a Police Officer, a class D felony.
The charges stem from an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the town of Scriba.
He allegedly pushed a victim into a glass door causing the glass to shatter and cuts to the victim’s arm, along with displaying a knife in his hand placing the deputy in reasonable fear of physical injury.
Mr. Myers was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court by Hon. Judge Adkins.
He was remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
He is to appear in court on June 7.
