Donald G. Pritchard, 84, a resident of West Lake Rd., Town of Oswego, passed away January 11, 2011 at the Oswego Hospital.
Born in the Town of Oswego, he was the son of the late Roger and Doris (Upcraft) Pritchard.
He was an US Army Veteran.
Don was a self employed Dairy Farmer.
He was a member of Grange, Dairylea Cooperative Inc., a past member of American Legion Post 268, Oswego Elks and a cooperative member of Oswego Town Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife Patricia (McConnell) Pritchard; five daughters, Deborah Sharkey, Penny (Dick) Bateman, Valerie Downing, Marla (Matthew) Berlin, Tricia (Shawn) Caroccio, all of Oswego; six sons, Kevin Pritchard, Roger (Mary Anne) Pritchard, both of Oswego; Alan (Grace) Pritchard of Myrtle Beach; Richard (Lori) Pritchard, Darrell (Joyce) Pritchard and Gregg (Bridget) Pritchard, all of Oswego; five brothers, Eugene (Evelyn) Pritchard of Sterling; Alfred (Irene) Pritchard of Oswego; Warren (Kathryn) Pritchard of Fair Haven; Robert (Ann) Pritchard of Oswego; Olin (Patricia) Pritchard of Hannibal; two sisters, Mary Joyce (Tom) Layo of Syracuse and Susan (Charles) Leavitt of E. Syracuse; a sister-in-law, Louise Pritchard; nineteen grandchildren, Kevin Pritchard Jr., Donny (Erin) Pritchard, Amy Gerth, Shannon (Brian) McManus, Shane (Shirley) Pritchard, Jesse Pritchard, Heather Pritchard, Jacqueline (John) Cowher, Ricky Pritchard, Nick Pritchard, Kristy (Preston) Guyton, Craig Bateman, Kasey (David) Pauldine, Katelyn Bateman, Mark Berlin, Aaron Berlin, Ben Pritchard, Kara Pritchard, Alec Caroccio, Aiden Caroccio, Jordan Caroccio; great-grandchildren, Ricky and Ryan Gerth, Cayden McManus, Ethan Pritchard, Sophie and Carson Guyton and Brody Pauldine.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Violet Somers, daughter, Linda Pritchard, granddaughter, Wendy Pritchard and a brother, Glen Pritchard.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Southwest Oswego United Methodist Church. Spring burial will be in Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego, and Saturday, 9:30 to 10:30a.m., prior to the service at the Church.
