Donald O. Ingersoll, 89, of Fulton died Sunday at home surrounded by his family and friends.
He was a life resident of Fulton. Donald was an Army veteran of World War II where he served 3 ½ years in the South Pacific Theatre. He retired in 1984 from General Electric where he worked for 35 years. Donald was predeceased by his parents, Ambrose and Vera Ingersoll and by a brother, Sherwood Ingersoll.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian (Smith) Ingersoll; a son, Dean (Janet) Ingersoll; a daughter, Louanne (Greg) Tulik; two grandchildren, Derek Ingersoll and Zachary Tulik; two great grandchildren and one nephew, Gary Ingersoll.
There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
