OSWEGO, NY – Donald W. Clark, 70, a resident of Maiden Lane Road in the Town of Scriba, passed away Wednesday Dec. 2, 2009, at his home.
Mr. Clark was born in Saranac Lake, NY, and lived in Oswego all his life.
He served his country as a US Army paratrooper, in the 101st Airborne Division.
He was employed as a foreman at the Alcan Corp. in Oswego, retiring after 25 years.
Mr. Clark was an avid NASCAR enthusiast.
He loved following the New York Yankees and SU sports teams.
He enjoyed Rock ‘n Roll music and muscle cars, especially his 1973 Plymouth ‘Cuda.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle (Mark) Detor of Syracuse; a son, Scott (Amanda) Clark of Oswego; a sister, Connie (Joe) Murabito of Oswego; 8 grandchildren, Brittany, Samantha, Grace, Foster, Zachary, Colin, Austin, and Max; and several nieces.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly Clark, who died in 1987; and his mother, Edith Clark Murabito, who died in 1998.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. MaryÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Church in Oswego.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
