SYRACUSE, NY – David DeFrancis, outreach director at Aurora of CNY, is asking people with vision loss and their families to donate vision aids, such as magnifiers and other devices, that they are no longer using.
“The donated items will allow others who otherwise could not afford them to acquire them at no cost,†DeFrancis said.
Donations can be dropped off at Aurora’s offices at 518 James St. in Syracuse between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
For more information, call DeFrancis at 315-422-7263.
