Dorothy H. Myers, 83 and a former resident of 225 West First St. died Thursday.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late George and Ellen Burnard Myers. She was educated in Oswego schools and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Myers was a member of the American Legion Post #268 WomenÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s Auxiliary and a volunteer for many years at St. Luke Health Services, Inc. She had been employed as an aide with Oswego County Opportunities.
She is survived by a daughter, Jean Germain of Oswego; a son, Michael Zakala of Syracuse; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Myers was predeceased by sisters Grace Hegadorn and Agnes Weber and by brothers George Myers and Edward Myers.
