Dorothy H. Peeling, 85, a resident of Minetto Senior Housing, and a former resident of Scriba, passed away Tuesday, at University Hospital in Syracuse, as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Peeling was born in Utica, the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Kistner) Armstrong. She had lived in the Oswego area for most of her life.
She was the wife of the late LaVerne Peeling, who died in 1975.
She is survived by 2 daughters, LaVonne (Earl) Davis of Scriba, and Nanette (Vincent) Puglia of Volney; 4 sons, Gary (Lorraine) Peeling, Harold (Barbara) Peeling, Timothy (Deborah) Peeling, and Thomas (Marie) Peeling, all of Scriba; a brother, Robert Armstrong of Brantingham; a sister, Judy Dzwonkas of Brantingham; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Kenneth Armstrong, and Theodore ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã…â€œBudÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â Armstrong.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 Saturday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 2:00 to 5:00pm Saturday, at the funeral home, 112 East Second St., in Oswego.
