OSWEGO, New York – Internationally known Aerosmith tribute band, Draw the Line, is set to perform this summer at the Rev & Rock Classic Rock Festival at Oswego Speedway, according to Chuck Handley, Chairman of the Rev & Rock Festival Committee.
The event, to be held August 14th on the infield of Oswego Speedway, will kick off at 2:00 p.m. and include live music, multiple food vendors and attractions, high energy and relaxation. Gates open at 1:00 p.m. Advanced-sale tickets, available now, are $20 per person, and $25 per person after August 1st.
Last on the schedule, Draw The Line will wrap up the Rev & Rock Festival in Oswego. The band originated in Boston, Massachusetts. Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler, singled out Draw The Line as their best tribute band, and allowed them to be featured on the official Aerosmith Website. Draw the Line is now an official member of IATB, the International Association of Tribute Bands.
Just one of their striking similarities to Aerosmith, Lead singer Neill Byrnes, won a Steven Tyler look-alike contest on one of Boston’s biggest rock radio stations, 104.1 WBCN. Draw The Line has performed in all but two U.S. states and toured in countries such as England, Canada, South America, and Japan.
Three other nationally known tribute bands will also be performing at Rev & Rock including Changes in Latitudes, Hotel California, and Separate Ways. Also on the schedule is Oswego’s own original southern rock band, Frostbit Blue.
According to Handley, Rev & Rock guarantees its audience a diverse collection of music and entertainment throughout the day. All four-tribute bands will provide a unique complement to some of the music industry’s greatest performers of the past 50 years.
