OSWEGO, NY ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ An Oswego man is facing several felony drug charges following a joint investigation.
On Aug. 28, John G. Glynn, 48, of 84 W. Second St. Apt. #6, Oswego, was arrested by investigators of the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, police said Wednesday.
The arrest brought to a successful conclusion a joint investigation between the Oswego City Police Department and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team into the sales and possession of marijuana allegedly being perpetrated by Glynn in and around the city of Oswego.
At the time of his arrest, Glynn was also found to allegedly be in possession of approximately 2 pounds of marijuana that he had allegedly intended to sell to another.
On Sept. 18, Glynn was indicted by an Oswego County Grand Jury on the following charges stemming from the investigation:
Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 1st degree (Class C Felony)
Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 2nd degree (Class D Felony)
Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 2nd degree (Class D Felony)
Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 4th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 4th degree (Class A Misdemeanor)
According to Oswego City Police Chief Michael J.
